RESEARCH AND PRODUCTION (YRs 2-3):
With the completion of Phase 1, Phase 2 takes on the research activities and conversion of the research to production. GIRT research-based economy vision is designed to impact the socio-economic conditions of the community and the state. To achieve the primary goal of supporting research and sustainable development, GIRT critical priority is to address through research global issues in the local and regional contexts within UN related SDGs, the following strategies are in view:
- Establish educational research resources and infrastructural ecosystem in the identified pillars through convergence research and network of networks with a global themes:
- Establish Interdisciplinary Research Collaborations (IRC) and research outcomes for societal impact with requiring convergence of ideas, approaches and technologies from widely diverse fields of knowledge to stimulate innovation and discovery.
- Create a platform for global engagement and scientific disciplines in a coordinated, reciprocal and culturally relevant ways
- Create opportunities that promote community development for socio-economic advancement of humanity
- Create strategic partnership with African universities, African NGO and local industries, State and Federal governments and agencies, and top global Research I universities
- Serving as an independent global research canter that cultural relevant to South Saharan Africa. Development of Material vaccine and similar tropical diseases.
- Promote post-graduate research, exchanges, and multi-national global research initiatives
- Create Lab -naming opportunities for universities and hosting their graduate students and poct docs for tropical disease research
