Recent reports show that social entrepreneurships have a great future in Rivers State, especially in ILGA, with the collapse of farming, farm produce, and functional governmental offices and employments. The institute will provide a coordinated effort to help the people of the state in developing local industries and economies driven by research outcomes. CMED will focus on transfer of research results into sustained manufacturing, based on raw materials in local context and Africa. The center activities will include:

• Develop and implement a comprehensive plan for transferring the research education outcomes to practical use for the betterment of African nations
• Develop the several African raw materials to sustainable products.
• Provide the logistics and expertise to incubate manufacturing spin-off companies
• Promote post-graduate research, exchanges, and multi-national global research initiatives
• Direct transfer of research, technology, and innovations to manufacturing of products based on raw materials readily available in Africa
• Carry on the business of the manufacture and sale by wholesale or retail of egg products, powdered milk and all other products of the farm.
• Enter into agreements with companies, firm and person for promoting and increasing the manufacture, sale and purchase and/or up-keep, the maintenance of good
